By train
The Museum itself is located very close to the Bochum main train station. You may simply take any Deutsche Bahn train which stops in Bochum. From the main train station, you can take the underground train (U35) and get off at the Bergbau-Museum station.
By air
The nearest airport around Bochum is Düsseldorf International Airport (DUS). From there you may use Deutsche Bahn trains to reach Bochum. The journey will take around 45 minutes
We will reimburse you accommodation and travelling to Bochum for one speaker each paper and one presenter for each poster. Please note that our budget is limited. For this reason, when you are booking your trip, we advise you to choose low-cost options (e.g. 2nd class trains, low-cost flight companies).
Please keep the original of the tickets and send them to us as soon as possible after the event. Please keep in mind that for bureaucratic reasons we will not be able to reimburse tickets processed after 31 December 2020.
